Christmas Tag

Thanks Healy for your Christmas present. It just arrive the right time.

1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Hot Chocolate.
2. Does Santa wrap the presents or just sit them under the tree? I normally get only sweets.
3. Colored or white lights? White...I want white christmas!
4. Do you hang mistletoe? Nope.
5. When do you put your decorations up? Nothing for Christmas.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish? Grilled chicken for i only take chicken.
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child? Singapore with my parents.
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? To me, Santa only exist in cartoons.
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? I would open it if i get one.
10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? So sad, no Christmas tree for us.
11. Snow: Love it or hate it? Love it.
12. Can you ice skate? Hate it...tiring and painful!
13. Do you remember your favorite gift? Gift from God, my family :)
14. What’s the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Food and family.
15. What is your favorite holiday dessert? Cake with lots of cream.
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? Birthday presents only.
17. What is on top of your tree? Don't even have a tree, *sob sob*

20. Do you like candy canes? I love receiving, but only for decor as I hardly eat sweets.

Fun morning

Sometimes in the morning, we will do some simple craft at home. Not only it gives my girl some task to do, it makes her she feels proud the some art work she did too.

This is a simple Christmas craft using some scrap cardboard from my shampoo box. You can also do this by using different materials and past your decorated tree on a wishing card too. See more details here.

Christmas Greeting Card

How about a nice textured Christmas tree for your card? This is very simple one, but requires some patient to do it. Due to the small bits of paper, you have to be cautious if you your little one handle them.

Materials: Blank card, felt (or color paper), puncher, glue, scissors

Method:
1. Draw a tree template on a piece of paper.
2. Trace it onto a green felt.
3. Punch holes out of some other color felt.
4. Punch out some stars.
5. Stick the little shapes onto the tree.
6. Paste the Christmas tree onto the card.

3D Christmas Card

Christmas is coming!!! I visited many sites with Christmas craft, and this is what I like best. Simple and yet nice.

Materials: Blank card, marker, cotton, red paper, glue

Method:
1. Cut a card and fold it into a greeting card size.
2. Draw eyes and nose of a Santa Claus.
3. Cut a triangle out of the red paper (to create hat for Santa Claus). Paste it onto the card.
4. Pull apart some cotton wool balls (to create beard and glue to the card).

Star tea light

Materials: corrugated cardboard, scissors, tea-light, shape puncher

Method:
1. Cut a star out of the cardboard.
2. Cut a stripe out of the cardboard (measure it to 1cm higher than the tea-light).
3. Wrap the stripe around the tea light and secure it with glue.
4. Place the tea light onto the middle of the star. Glue it.
5. Glue some motifs to the star for decor.

Christmas paper wreath

How about something special for Granny during Christmas?

Materials: Green paper, a red ribbon, scissors and glue

Method:
1. Trace kid's palm onto the green paper.
2. Cut it out (make about 10 for each wreath)
3. Glue together to make a wreath (overlapping the wrist area)
4. Glue a ribbon bow to the wreath
