Less time on PC

There are so little to write these days, and now I hardly spend time on my laptop (less income too). It is also better that I am getting more rest on bed and sleep as my pregnancy is advancing. Currently moving into my 32 weeks, I no longer as mobile as I used to be. All I can do is to take only a few steps at home and I need a rest. Sounds like an old lady yeah....that is the wonder what a twin pregnancy can do to a woman!

Still awake until now?

Don’t know what is wrong with me, it is almost 4am in the morning, and here I am wide awake not able to doze off. Only in my 27 weeks pregnancy, my growing stomach is really making me uncomfortable to lie down, even on my sides, and sometimes I can hardly have a good night sleep.

I wonder how my days would be like when my pregnancy advance later. Hubby stop hugging me, complaining that I am too huge to be hugged at this moment. If only I can get onto one of those romantic cruises with my dear hubby, having him hugging me tight so I can doze off to my la-la land soon!

Pregnancy turns me into a hippopotamus!

This evening, when my girl wanted to go out and join cycling with her neighbour friend, I was so worried. With my very heavy stomach now, I can hardly move or walk for long. I certainly lose all my energy to chase around a little toddler on her bicycle and most of the time now, I have to rely much on hubby to take care of our girl. Sometimes I really feel like a gigantic hippopotamus, with the rapid increasing weight at this moment. I am wondering how I would really look if being put running on one of the treadmills, trying to slim down hard later on.

My Poor Little Girl

Parenting is the hardest thing in the world, I think at least for me. It is always not possible to have a worry-free journey in parenting. For instant, there are quite a few issues that is bothering me and hubby about QQ. Probably we are too worried about our little girl? Hmmm…..I bet any parent would have the same feeling too, given the same scenario.

Eye-sight problem

Since young, QQ has the habit of looking at books and even our PC from very near distance. Nanny complaint the same thing, and we notice it too, but we always comfort ourself it’s just a bad habit after we did some test at home on her.

The reason why we delayed to bring her for a check-up with the eye specialist is because we do not want her to endure uneccassary test which requires our lil child to be knocked out medically in order for the doctor to put in some solution and perform eye check since they still cannot read.

But recently her preschool teacher tells me the same thing that she is seeing her book too near and it is quite abnormal. No choice but we got to send her for a check up soon with the children eye-specialist soon.

Vomit after meals

My worse fear the moment she was born. She had some kind of weird intestinal infection and had the most traumatic few days of her life by having tubes into her tummy, and everywhere on her body. She was on drips, crying for hunger, but starved without milk for almost a week, until I see gastric fluid was seen on tube whenever the paed extract fluid from her intestine to check what causes the infection. Something a mother would not bear to see on her own child enduring in such pain :(

During her baby days, she will frequently regurgitate DURING breastfeeding, even before I manage to burp her. This continue until today, and now at almost age of 4, she still vomit very frequently after her meal. Although her pead couldn’t find anything wrong, he refuse to recommend further check because it would be very traumatic for her to go through the check procedure by swallowing the camera into their stomach.

Since her condition is not improving over the years, and not wanting to take any more risk, we decided it is time to bring her to the child gastroenterologist for further investigation.

I just hope this girl will grow up healthy, and soon outgrow all her problems soon. I had enough with one delicate baby so please…GOD…….bless me with boys that would be tough and strong like a bull, so I do not have to worry a thing with them!!

Late nap

It is 15minutes passed 9pm now, and my girl has not wake up from her nap. We had some guests over this afternoon. Eva and Angeleyes came over and QQ had a good time playing with Darrius. But after they left and since it was raining heavily in the evening, QQ continue to sleep soundly even after I cooked our dinner.

She has been sleeping for 4 hours and I wonder how she is going to sleep tonight :(

Progress of maid selection

With 2 new boys coming soon to the family, everyone is advising me to hire a maid as soon as possible since I will be soon in my 3rd trimester.

Although I do not like the idea of having a stranger living with me in my home, I cannot think of any other alternative other than having a live-in-maid helping me with the babies. Right now, I am in the midst of searching for a maid, someone who I can really trust.

I received numerous biodata from the maid agency recently, but with just the pictures seen, I doubt I can really trust my instinct by just looking the the pictures like that.

Time is getting nearer, and I wish to settle this problem as soon as possible. If only my SIL's ex-maid could come over again to help me......

Almost 2 years being a SAHM

Is it really that nice being a SAHM (Stay-At-Home-Mother)?

I wasn't used to it for the first year after resigning from my job. At that time, I still send my girl to her nanny, even just for a few hours a day, so that I can have my own ME time. After sometime, when my girl is old enough to go to school, she stops going to her nanny.

Now each morning I send and pick her up from school, making sure lunch and dinner is ready on the table. I feel blessed to be able to live such a life, to be with my child whenever she needs me. But on the other hand, I feel that I have been taken for granted,especially by hubby, for being available at all time.

For you who have been a SAHM for quite sometime, do you feel the same as I do?

A dent on the car's door?

Wonder if anyone out there (especially men) is as fussy as my hubby.

Today, I went to the market to do some marketing. Knowing that hubby is very fussy with his beloved car, I had to look out for a spacious parking space so that the chances of having the side of the car being knocked by the parked car beside is slimmer. Unfortunately not this time.

Although there is a car that seems parked away quite a distance, I guess the passenger of the car must have opened the car too wide and knocked into my driver door. Of course I did not notice, that, but hubby is really mad now finding about the dent.

Hope he would just take his car away with him and let my have back my little old car.

Long waiting in Goverment Hospital

Haha....I was laughing out loud and told her, "This Saturday (our election day), we should voice out our complain!!

Our house is in a mess!!

There are so much to do at home, and if you come to my house, don't be surprise to see my whole house full of rubbish (strands of tissue papers from my girl's cooking and eraser rubs).

I actually planned to clean the floor today, since hubby is washing the car, but too bad, we did not manage to get rid of our girl (to nanny I mean).

Sigh...what a weekend....

A busy week

I am tired, really tired.

Since we came back from Kuantan last weekend, I still do not have the opportunity to mop the floor. It was the last week of Chinese New Year so me and some friends took the opportunity to do some last minute home visits.

Furthermore, my girl's preschool has got some celebration too, for the parents to join in.

I hope my life will be more organised and stable after next week. Sorry if I haven't been able to catch up with you. Will do, very soon...

Who is it that has changed?

It is pretty annoying when hubby comes back complaining about this and that. I somehow feel that he has beginning not able to understand the difficulty of my role as a full time mother or is it me that has changed tremendously?

I better go finish this quick before he complains again. Sigh...my girl really behaves wild now whenever his father is at home. If only she can behaves like her usual self, I would have less trouble with my irritating hubby.

Lousy Telekom

Each time when I am rushing to submit my assignments online, there must be some glitches. This time, it isn’t the internet fault, but the stupid telephone line’s problem in my housing area. Until today, the problem has not solved despite reported 24 hours ago. I really get pissed off with this stupid service provider and how I wish we could get some alternative broadband service in our area.
